Experience
The
practice has specialised exclusively in the planning, design and
implementation of hospitals and health care projects in the public
and private sectors in the U.K. and overseas.
In
the public sector the practice's activities have included long working
relationships with the Department of Health and Regional and District
Health Authorities. Projects implemented include three Nucleus hospitals,
with a total construction cost of £69 million.
Overseas
The
practice has extensive experience of work overseas. Projects are
current or completed in France, Cyprus, Kenya, Tanzania, India,
Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Abu
Dhabi,
Spain, Italy, Russia, Tajikistan, Poland, Hungary and Bulgaria.
Typical
of these projects are a financial feasibility study for a hospital
in Kuwait incorporating input from our service planning, medical
equipment and cost planning associates, and a private hospital in
Warsaw for which the practice researched the market, developed the
brief, and functional content, and prepared the design.
The
practice seeks to expand its interests overseas and recognises the
value in working with locally established teams, utilising the expertise
of all parties.
Service
The
practice believes that, with a wealth of experience in health care
design, it can contribute significantly to the effective implementation
of health projects worldwide.
