DESALINATION SYSTEMS

In mid-sixties, the development of RO desalination process got to commercial application. Since this time, the improvement of technology walks with giant steps. Today desalination by RO membranes is a fully developed, safety and very reasonable process of water resources engineering.

More than ten years of experience in seawater desalination for WWWS AG lead us to a large competence for you advantage. Our delivery possibilities enclose plants from a capacity of one cubicmeter potable water up to water works to supply communities.

WWWS AG developed three standard product types, to make it easier to find the best solution for you. All plants are relized in industry quality.

Plant Type SW
Small units witha a daily capacity between 1 and 30m3 (260-8.000 GPD) drinking water. Because of the module construction, the plant can be ideally fitted to the requirement. Based on the central module: a one-stage RO with plunger pump and control unit, the system can be extended by wellpumps, pretreatment dosing systems, grave filters, aftertreatment systems, cleaning station, additional control systems, etc. Plants are also available as container installation

Plant Type SWS
Complete plants with a daily capacity, between 50 and 1.000 m3 (13.000-264.000 GPD) drinking water. As one stage RO, they are used to treat seawater with a salinity up to 40.000 ppm TDS. The product water corresponds to the directions of WHO (<500 ppm). From 150m3/day size, the plants are fitted out with energy recovery turbines. The plants can be extended with wellpumps and intermedia tanks. Plants are also available as container installation.

Plant Type SWD
Complete plants with a daily capacity, between 50 and 1.000 m3 (13.000-264.000 GPD) drinking water. As two stage RO, they are used to treat seawater witha a salinity of more thatn 40.000 ppm TDS (Arabian Gulf, Red Sea), or if different waterqualities are demanded (e.g. boiler, fruit juices, hospitals, breweries, etc.) The product water corresponds to the directos of WHO (<500 ppm). From 150m3/day size, the plants are fitted out with energy recovery turbines. The plants can be extended with wellpumps and intermedia tanks. Plants are also available as container installation.
